Who We Are
We are the student body of computer science.
What’s the student body? – The student body (“Fachschaft” – FS) are the representatives of the students in one or multiple degree programmes.
In order to help you and your fellow freshmen start your life at university, we organize the orientation unit (“Orientierungseinheit” – OE). During these days, we give you information about how your degree programme is structured, as well as general information about Bonn and the University of Bonn. We also show you the Poppelsdorf campus, where the main part of your studies will take place. Next to the informative parts, which will mostly take place in the mornings, there will also be afternoon activities, which focus on getting to know your fellow students.

Inform
Our freshmen magazine “Inform” contains all information which we also tell you at the orientation unit.
It is of course still important to visit the orientation unit if you can – if not for our amazing anecdotes, then for socializing with other freshmen!

Study Compass
The university publishes the Study Compass, which contains lots of general information about studying in Bonn.
We may have a couple of paper issues available in our office, but it is probably easier to just get the digital version.
